oracle DBA Engineer

Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases in on-premise and cloud environments. Perform database monitoring, tuning, backup, recovery, and patching activities. Implement automation for database operations using Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Git, and Groovy scripts. Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to deploy database changes and upgrades. Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of Oracle database systems. Troubleshoot database performance issues and provide root-cause analysis. Maintain documentation for database architecture, procedures, and automation scripts. Support database migrations, upgrades, and replication activities. Participate in incident management and provide 24x7 support as needed. Required Technical Skills Strong experience with Oracle Database administration (installation, configuration, backup/recovery, patching). Hands-on knowledge of automation tools: Jenkins, Ansible, Git, Groovy, Terraform. Experience with Cloud DevOps automation for database management. Performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Oracle databases. Knowledge of database security, user management, and access control. Experience with database migrations, upgrades, and replication techniques.
