PLM Configurator

As a PLM Configurator at our client, a leading Indian multinational IT services and consulting firm, your role will involve architecting and enhancing product configuration capabilities for complex manufacturing environments. You will be responsible for maintaining configurator systems (specifically Configure One), ensuring accurate product structures, rules, and variant logic, integrating with PLM and ERP platforms, and supporting the Digital Thread. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and optimize product configurator systems to ensure accurate product structures, rules, and variant logic. - Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams to deliver robust configuration solutions. - Ensure seamless data flow between configurator, PLM systems (Windchill, Teamcenter, ARAS), and ERP systems (JD Edwards, Oracle, SAP). - Translate complex engineering requirements into configurable logic and rules for BOMs and product structures. - Serve as an expert for product configuration architecture, governance, and variant management. Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: - Direct experience with Configure One implementation and support. - Exposure to variant management and complex product structures. Required Qualifications: - 6-10 years in engineering configuration management or solution architecture. - Hands-on experience with PLM configurators (Windchill Options & Variants, Teamcenter, ARAS). - Strong background in JD Edwards, Oracle, SAP, and PLM integration. - Solid understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes; industrial manufacturing or automotive experience preferred.
