Job Title: Python Application Developer Loc: Pune Experience: 7+ years Job Type: Contract to hire Notice Period: - Immediate joiners. JD: Primary Skill- Python, Oracle/Postrgres, RHEL, Linux shell scripting, CICD, Azure Secondary Skill - Rex/Ansible, Package Management, Web site management, Perl Skills and Qualifications: Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and Java, with a focus on web services and web stack understanding. Experience in database migration, particularly from Oracle to Postgres, and familiarity with Postgres SQL. Knowledge of Red Hat Linux, Unix platforms, and experience with Jenkins, Rex Ansible, and CICD processes. Familiarity with HSM (Hierarchical Security Management Systems) and understanding of access provisioning and management within the Swiss environment. Ability to work within European hours and collaborate effectively with teams in Switzerland. Strong communication skills and the ability to facilitate knowledge transfer and support the transition of responsibilities. Responsibilities: Lead the migration of solutions from Red Hat to Azure, with a focus on database migration from Oracle to Postgres. Develop and maintain solutions built on top of vendor products, particularly Grossie's Enterprise, for access control processes, temporary privilege access, access distribution, and remote process execution. Utilize a mix of Python, JavaScript, and Java for coding and web development, with a strong emphasis on web services. Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth migration and integration of solutions into Azure, leveraging UBS migration factory for support. Conduct database analysis and separation of highly integrated databases to support the Postgres migration. Work closely with the operational team to ensure the successful maintenance and management of the solutions. Provide knowledge transfer and support the transition of responsibilities as the contract with I logs concludes.
