About the role
We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, develop, and deploy scalable applications and services. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, deep knowledge of cloud-native architecture, and experience with modern development frameworks and DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and APIs. Build and manage cloud-native applications and microservices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . Work with Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Run . Integrate third-party services and APIs into backend systems. Implement CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build , GitHub Actions , or Jenkins . Collaborate with data engineers, DevOps teams, and product managers to deliver scalable solutions. Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring reliability and security. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 6–8 years of experience in Python development. Strong experience with GCP services such as: Cloud Functions / Cloud Run Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Dataflow Cloud Storage and IAM Proficiency with Flask , FastAPI , or Django frameworks. Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture. Hands-on experience with Docker , Kubernetes (GKE) , and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
