About the role
Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithm design and complexity analysis Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language such as Java, C++ or C# Exposure with AWS will be added advantage. Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrate ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions. Demonstrate ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment. Experience mentoring software engineers and influencing best practices within your team. Experience in dealing with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly. 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
