Sr AD Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Active Directory Engineer to join our client's dynamic IT infrastructure team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Active Directory (AD), PKI Certificates , and on-premise policy configuration . Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain Active Directory (AD) infrastructure, including user/group management and AD forest/domain configuration Handle PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) certificates and related security operations Implement and enforce Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and security policies across the environment Administer and support on-premise infrastructure , ensuring uptime and compliance with internal standards Troubleshoot AD replication, DNS issues, and authentication problems Collaborate with cross-functional teams on access control, identity management, and directory services Participate in audits, risk reviews, and patching processes related to identity services Required Skills: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in managing and supporting Active Directory Solid experience with PKI certificates and certificate lifecycle management Expertise in on-premise IT infrastructure Proficiency in creating, managing, and troubleshooting Group Policies (GPOs) Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines Good to Have: Exposure to cloud identity platforms like Azure AD Experience with ADFS, MFA , or SSO configurations
