As a Security Analyst at our reputed MNC client in Pune, your role will involve monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events and incidents to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of enterprise systems and data. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM tools like Splunk - Investigate and respond to real-time security alerts and incidents - Coordinate with internal teams for incident resolution and root cause analysis - Document incident reports, findings, and remediation steps - Continuously tune detection rules and enhance response processes - Assist in threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and threat intelligence gathering - Stay updated on current cybersecurity threats and trends Qualifications Required: - Experience in GSOC operations and monitoring - Proficiency in SIEM tools, preferably Splunk - Hands-on experience in incident response and escalation processes - Ability in log analysis, event triage, and threat detection - Understanding of security frameworks and best practices such as NIST, MITRE ATT&CK - Certifications like CEH, Security+, Splunk Core Certified User, or equivalent are preferred - Familiarity with endpoint detection tools, firewalls, and threat intelligence platforms - Knowledge of network protocols and security monitoring Join us if you have 6-10 years of experience in Splunk, SIEM, and Incident Response.
