Sr IT Engineer -Azure Platform (PAAS)

Shift time - 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM Location - Pune, hybrid *Looking for early joiners only Job Summary This individual contributor is primarily responsible for translating business requirements and functional specifications into software solutions, for assisting in contributing to and leveraging the technical direction for the development of integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions, and for providing consultation to help ensure new and existing software solutions are developed. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and support secure, scalable cloud solutions using Azure, Databricks, DevSecOps, and Agile practices. Translate business requirements into technical solutions and develop high-quality applications. Support application deployments, migrations, onboarding, incident management, and production operations. Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, system monitoring, and post-production support. Develop, test, document, and maintain software solutions following SDLC best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, and vendors to deliver scalable solutions. Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote engineering best practices. Implement automation, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and platform enhancements to improve reliability and efficiency. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 6+ years of software development/engineering experience. 46+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure , Azure PaaS , and Databricks . Experience with cloud compute and data services, platform automation, and DevSecOps practices. Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and production support experience. Knowledge of Azure security, IAM/role assignments, and system integrations. Experience with CI/CD, SDLC, Agile methodologies, and technical documentation. Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor team members and collaborate across teams.
