About the role
Job Description: RPA Developer (Automation Anywhere) – Contractor
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced RPA Developer specializing in Automation
Anywhere to support the design, development, and maintenance of
automation solutions. This contractor role will work closely with
Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and business partners to automate
processes and drive operational efficiency. Experience in Finance
domains is considered an asset but is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy RPA solutions using Automation
Anywhere.
- Build and enhance web automations using Automation Anywhere
web/browser automation packages, including object capture,
selectors, and browser-based workflows.
- Create, update, troubleshoot, and optimize Excel VBA macros used
within Automation Anywhere workflows.
- Support existing bots including troubleshooting, enhancements, and
performance optimization.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and
identify automation opportunities.

Develop process documentation including PDDs, SDDs, and runbooks.

Monitor bot performance and take corrective actions for failures or
exceptions.
- Ensure solutions comply with security, audit, and governance
standards.
- Participate in testing cycles (unit, UAT) and support production
deployments.
- Provide ongoing support during critical periods such as month-end
close cycles.
Required Qualifications

Hands-on experience with Automation Anywhere (A360 preferred).

Automation Anywhere Advanced or Master certification is required.

Strong hands-on experience creating, debugging, and fixing Excel/VBA
macros, including macro execution through Automation Anywhere.
- Experience developing web automation using Automation Anywhere
web/browser packages, including handling dynamic web elements and
browser interactions.
- Strong experience in RPA development lifecycle including design,
development, testing, and deployment.
- Proficiency in scripting and working with APIs, databases, and
file-based integrations.

Experience with bot debugging, exception handling, and log analysis.

Understanding of infrastructure, virtual machines, and credential
management.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience within Finance domains (e.g., Record-to-Report,
Procure-to-Pay, or billing processes).

Experience with SAP, ERP systems, or enterprise finance platforms.

Exposure to other automation tools such as Alteryx, Power Automate,
or UIPath.
- Familiarity with SOX controls, audit, and compliance requirements.

Contract Details

Reports to: Senior Manager, Finance Data & Analytics.

Location: Hybrid (Mississauga-based preferred).
