Security QA Engineer (Profile Sharing)

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1 • Kernel-Level Validation & Cross-Platform Testing: Strong expertise in kernel validation across Linux (RHEL/SLES) and platforms like AIX/Solaris, including kernel module interaction, stability, and performance validation.

• Strong expertise in kernel-level validation across Linux (RHEL/SLES) and other platforms (AIX/Solaris), with a deep understanding of kernel-module interactions

• QA Automation & Pipeline Management: Proficient in designing, executing, and maintaining QA automation frameworks for kernel updates, IOM/LMS testing, and large-scale proliferation testing using Python.

• Kernel Upgrade & Compatibility Validation: Hands-on experience validating new kernel and OS versions, ensuring module compatibility, system stability, and seamless integration.

• Cluster/HA & Storage Validation: Experience in high-availability and cluster testing (failover, fencing, split-brain scenarios) along with storage stack validation.

• Test Design & Regression Strategy: Ability to design and implement new test cases for kernel changes, focusing on regression, upgrade, and interoperability across OS/kernel versions.
