About Position: We are seeking a Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in enterprise mainframe technologies to design, develop, maintain, and support business-critical applications. The role involves working on large-scale mainframe systems, delivering reliable solutions, supporting modernization initiatives, and ensuring high application performance and stability across enterprise environments. Role: Mainframe Dev Location: All Persistent Location Experience: 8 to 12 Years Job Type: Full-Time Employment What You'll Do: Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and related technologies. Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable, and reliable technical solutions. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement timely fixes to ensure system stability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and support teams, throughout the software development lifecycle. Optimize application performance, ensure code quality, and support system upgrades, enhancements, and modernization initiatives. Expertise You'll Bring: Strong hands-on experience in Mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, and IMS. Proven ability to analyze complex business requirements and develop robust, high-performing mainframe solutions. Experience in application debugging, performance tuning, incident management, and production support. Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, version control, and release management processes. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Education- B.E. / B.Tech./ M.C.A.
