About the role
About Position: Progress DBA role responsible for managing QAD databases, ensuring performance, handling production issues, and providing 24/7 support with automation and backup management. Role: Progress Database Administrator (DBA) Location: Pune, Bangalore, Chennai Experience: 5 to 8 Years Job Type: Full Time Employment What You'll Do: You will manage Progress/QAD database environments, ensuring performance, availability, and smooth operations while supporting production systems and automating tasks. Monitor and improve database & system performance Handle production issues, outages & root cause analysis Manage backup, recovery & database health checks Work on automation and scripting for DB tasks Support 24/7 Cloud Ops and customer ticket resolution Create documentation, SOPs & deployment plans Expertise You'll Bring: You will bring strong Progress/QAD database expertise, along with hands-on experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and automation in a Cloud Ops environment.
