Role Overview: As a Senior Azure and .NET Full-Stack Engineer at Persistent, you will play a key role in supporting a pilot initiative focused on modernizing a legacy application using AI-driven development practices. Your responsibilities will include leading the migration to a modern, cloud-native technology stack on Microsoft Azure, designing and building full-stack solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and contribute to the migration of a legacy application to a modern, cloud-native architecture on Microsoft Azure - Design, build, and enhance full-stack solutions using modern .NET technologies and Azure services - Apply AI-assisted development techniques such as code generation, refactoring, test automation, and optimization - Modernize application layers including UI, APIs, business logic, and data access - Leverage Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) to complement custom .NET components with low-code/no-code capabilities - Collaborate with product, architecture, and cloud teams to define migration strategy and technical roadmap - Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable, and performant - Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical documentation Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer with expertise in .NET / C#, front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular), RESTful APIs, and microservices - Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (App Services, Functions, Azure SQL/Cosmos DB, etc.) - Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (MSPA) Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse integration with Azure/.NET solutions - Experience in modernizing or migrating legacy applications - Familiarity with AI-assisted or AI-driven development tools and practices - Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, design patterns, cloud-native architectures, and container-based architectures - Knowledge of DevOps pipelines, CI/CD concepts, AI services, copilots, and developer productivity tools Additional Details: Persistent is an AI-led, platform-driven Digital Engineering and Enterprise Modernization partner with a disruptor's mindset, commitment to client success, and a global team of 27,500+ members across 18 countries.
