About the role
Role & ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs for our PI/PG platform using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies. Lead architectural discussions and contribute to the evolution of our system architecture, ensuring it aligns with industry best practices for payment systems. Work extensively with SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis) databases, including schema design, query optimization, and data integrity. Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver new features and enhancements. Develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests to ensure code quality and system stability. Gain a comprehensive understanding of our DevOps setup, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and assist in troubleshooting deployment and operational issues. Participate in front-end development tasks using React.js as needed, ensuring seamless integration with backend services. Mentor junior engineers for e-commerce websites / scrappers / Python scrips Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in payment processing, backend development, and cloud infrastructure. Ensure compliance with security standards relevant to payment systems (e.g., PCI DSS understanding is a plus)Preferred Candidate Profile Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 5-6 years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on backend systems Expertise in Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data) Proven experience with designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices In-depth knowledge of SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns Handson experience or significant exposure to React.js for front-end development Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, AWS/Azure/GCP) Thorough understanding of Payment Gateway (PG) and Payment Interface (PI) system architectures, transaction flows, and security considerations Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Role & ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs for our PI/PG platform using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
