Tekla Modeler Share this opportunity: Mangalore 3-4 Years Experience Experience Required 3-4 Years Educational Background Diploma BE or M Tech in Civil or Relevant Discipline Job Description Tekla Modeler Job Description About the Role The Tekla Modeler is responsible for developing accurate 3D structural models and detailed fabrication drawings using Tekla Structures for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. The role requires independent execution of modeling and detailing activities while coordinating with project teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery in accordance with project specifications and company standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures. Generate General Arrangement (GA), fabrication, assembly, and erection drawings. Review engineering and design documents to ensure accurate modeling and detailing. Coordinate with engineers, project coordinators, and other disciplines to resolve design and detailing issues. Perform model updates and incorporate revisions as per project requirements. Ensure compliance with project standards, client specifications, and quality procedures. Conduct model checks and assist in clash detection activities. Support material take-offs, reports, and other project deliverables as required. Maintain productivity targets while ensuring accuracy and quality of work. Qualifications Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Certification or professional training in Tekla Structures is preferred. Experience 3 4 years of hands-on experience in Tekla Structures modeling and structural steel detailing. Experience in industrial, commercial, infrastructure, or oil gas projects is preferred. Ability to independently handle assigned modeling and detailing tasks. Required Skills Good knowledge of structural steel detailing, fabrication, and erection practices. Strong understanding of engineering drawings, design concepts, and detailing standards. Ability to interpret structural design documents and project specifications. Good problem-solving and coordination skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
