Product Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities 1) Generate concept design based on the functional requirement / customer requirement. 2) Provide engineering support for design, development, and optimization of products. 3) Design of Splashguard covers considering Aesthetics, reliability, serviceability, and cost. 4) Design of Control panel, Operator panel with user-friendliness and operator safety. 5) Selection/ Design of Cross covers, Lamella covers, Telescopic covers, Auto doors, Wipers. 6) Execute engineering design changes following change management processes. 7) Ensure delivering qualitative support in product development activity on time. 8) Delivering quality output as per the customer standard requirement. 9) Assist assembly department for procedural machine building activities. 10) Resolve customer complaints by studying and analyzing the root cause. Preferred candidate profile Must Have Competencies: 1) 2-5 years of experience using PTC Creo. 2) Design calculation and Material selection. 3) GD&T and Tolerance Stack-up analysis. 4) Design of machine elements like bearings, gears, pulleys, springs, seals etc. Preferred Competencies: 1) DFMEA (Part & Assembly level) 2) Design for Excellence (DFX) guidelines. 3) Experience in Machine design.
