Manager, Vx Data Product Engineering

As the Manager, Vx Data Product Engineering at Pfizer, your primary responsibility will be to own and manage key data products essential to the success of Vaccines Data Strategy. You will partner closely with key stakeholders across various departments to pioneer unrivaled data, analytics, and AI solutions that advance adoption and access to life-saving vaccines. Your role will involve engineering and maintaining portions of the U.S. Commercial Vx data asset ecosystem, enhancing existing Vx specific foundational capabilities, enabling performance reporting and Sales Force Incentive Compensation programs, and managing customer data to ensure consistency across the commercial organization. Key Responsibilities: - Engineer and maintain portions of the U.S. Commercial Vx data asset ecosystem - Maintain and enhance Vx specific foundational capabilities - Enable U.S. Commercial Vx performance reporting and Sales Force Incentive Compensation programs - Manage U.S. Commercial Vx customer backbone or Business Account Construct (BAC) - Partner with other departments to identify new Vx specific business data assets - Pioneer new capabilities using Gen AI and other advancements in the AI space Qualifications Required: - BA required, MS preferred in operations research, data science, statistics, or computer programming - 4+ years (BA) or 2+ years (MS) of experience in data strategy, data management, and/or commercial analytics - Deep understanding of key data types/sources used for vaccines commercial analytics - Robust knowledge of core data integration and data model design approaches - Proven experience building analytic data engineering pipelines - Proficient in data engineering code (SQL, Python, scripting, etc.) - Experience working with third-party data vendors - Strong analytical and communication skills - Ability to translate business needs into data asset design - Experience with Agile methodologies and data product management frameworks - Strategic mindset and Vx business knowledge Additional Details: - Work Location Assignment: Hybrid - Pfizer is an equal opportunity employer Note: For more information about acceptable and prohibited uses of AI during the recruitment process, please refer to the candidate AI-use guidelines available on Pfizer Careers website.
