About the role
Job Description: We are looking for a talented and passionate WordPress and Shopify developer with 6 months to 1 year of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of both platforms and a keen eye for design and functionality. You will be responsible for creating, customizing, and maintaining websites for our diverse clientele. Key Responsibilities: - Website Development: Design and develop custom WordPress and Shopify themes from scratch or using pre-built themes. - Customization: Customize existing WordPress and Shopify themes and plugins to meet specific client needs. - Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain websites to ensure optimal performance, security, and functionality. - Content Management: Manage and update website content, including text, images, and multimedia. - SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and ranking. - Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs promptly. - Client Communication: Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide regular updates on project progress. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with designers, marketers, and other developers to deliver comprehensive digital solutions. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Experience: 6-1 years of professional experience working with WordPress and Shopify. - Technical Skills: - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. - Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development. - Familiarity with Shopify Liquid template language. - Understanding of responsive design principles. - Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git). - Design Skills: Ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites. - Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. - Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently. Having a laptop is mandatory.
