About the role
As a Process Engineer at CLYZO, you will play a crucial role in optimizing processes, providing technical support, and developing new processes for efficient pharmaceutical production. Here is a breakdown of your responsibilities and qualifications: Role Overview: You will be responsible for optimizing various processes, including reaction conditions, raw material consumption, and utility usage to enhance the overall performance of mixing, heat transfer, distillation, crystallization, and filtration processes. Key Responsibilities: - Operate and monitor utility systems like chillers, boilers, and vacuum pumps - Troubleshoot and resolve batch failures, process deviations, and equipment bottlenecks - Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions - Handle multiple reactors and process equipment for pilot plant trials and commercial production - Conduct mass & energy balance calculations and equipment sizing - Prepare PFDs, equipment lists, plant layouts, and P&IDs - Utilize your experience with hydrogenation, ethylene oxide reactions, catalyst handling, and high-pressure reactor operations Qualifications Required: - Diploma in Chemical Engineering with 310 years' experience in specialty chemicals/pharma OR - Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering from reputed institutes with 3 to 10 years of experience in specialty chemicals/pharma intermediates - Strong process engineering and scale-up knowledge - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Hands-on experience in process troubleshooting and scale-up - Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and solve problems effectively If you have 38 years of experience in specialty chemicals, agrochemicals, or pharma intermediates and possess the desired qualifications, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity at CLYZO by sending your application to hr@clyzo.com.
