Job Requirements Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SDET (PQE III) with strong expertise in Automation Testing using Selenium and Playwright with Java/Python. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable automation frameworks, driving quality engineering best practices, and mentoring junior QA engineers. This role requires deep understanding of test automation architecture, CI/CD integration, API testing, and performance validation within Agile environments. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium / Playwright (Java or Python)Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable test automation suites for Web and API applicationsIntegrate automation pipelines with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps)Develop automation for REST APIs using tools like RestAssured / PyTestWork closely with developers and product teams to define acceptance criteria and test strategiesLead automation strategy for releases and ensure high regression coveragePerform root cause analysis and identify automation gapsImprove test execution performance and optimize framework stabilityMentor junior QA engineers and drive automation adoption across teamsParticipate in sprint planning, grooming, and release validation Technical Skills Required Mandatory Skills 8+ years of experience in QA Automation / SDET roleStrong hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriverStrong hands-on experience in PlaywrightProficiency in Java or Python (OOPS concepts mandatory)Experience in building automation frameworks from scratch (Hybrid / POM / BDD)Experience in API automation testingCI/CD integration experienceStrong SQL knowledgeExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsGood to Have Experience with Docker/KubernetesPerformance testing exposure (JMeter / Gatling)Cloud platform exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP)Security testing basicsExperience with Test Management tools (Jira, Zephyr, TestRail)Behavioral Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder managementOwnership mindset with high accountabilityAbility to drive quality improvements independentlyWhat We Expect from PQE III Level Ability to independently design automation strategyMentor team members and review automation codeIdentify quality risks early and provide mitigation plansContribute to engineering best practices and reusable components .
