Job Requirements Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SDET (PQE II) with strong expertise in Automation Testing using Playwright with Java/Python . The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable automation frameworks, driving quality engineering best practices, and mentoring junior QA engineers. This role requires deep understanding of test automation architecture, CI/CD integration, API testing, and performance validation within Agile environments. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright (Java or Python) Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable test automation suites for Web and API applications Integrate automation pipelines with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps) Develop automation for REST APIs using tools like RestAssured / PyTest Work closely with developers and product teams to define acceptance criteria and test strategies Perform root cause analysis and identify automation gaps Improve test execution performance and optimize framework stability Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and release validation Technical Skills Required Mandatory Skills 4+ years of experience in QA Automation / SDET role Strong hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver Strong hands-on experience in Playwright Proficiency in Java or Python (OOPS concepts mandatory) Experience in building automation frameworks from scratch (Hybrid / POM / BDD) Experience in API automation testing CI/CD integration experience Strong SQL knowledge Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Good to Have Experience with Docker/Kubernetes Performance testing exposure (JMeter / Gatling) Cloud platform exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP) Security testing basics Experience with Test Management tools (Jira, Zephyr, TestRail) Behavioral Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management Ownership mindset with high accountability Ability to drive quality improvements independently What We Expect From PQE III Level Ability to independently design automation strategy Mentor team members and review automation code Identify quality risks early and provide mitigation plans Contribute to engineering best practices and reusable components
