Job description Phenom People is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Development Engineer II - Backend to join our growing team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. As a Product Development Engineer II, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our cutting-edge products. You will work closely with our engineering team to design, develop, and implement new features and functionalities for our backend systems. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop new features and functionalities for our backend systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure timely delivery of projects Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code Troubleshoot and debug technical issues in a timely manner Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our products Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members Mentor and guide junior engineers in the team Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on backend systems Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js Experience with database design and management, preferably with SQL and NoSQL databases Knowledge of web services and API development Familiarity with Agile development methodologies Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Passion for learning and staying updated with new technologies Additional Parameters: Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools Experience with microservices architecture Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript If you are a self-driven and passionate engineer with a desire to work on cutting-edge products, then we want to hear from you! Work Experience What you've done 1 - 3 years of Software Development experience in Core Java, MongoDB, Algorithm, Data Structures, Design Patterns., Strong experience with Micro services and distributed systems. Experience in defining architecture and leading teams in design & development Experience with Cloud (AWS and Azure) deployments Solid written and verbal communication skills Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment Engineering Graduates / Post-Graduates from premier institutions are preferred.
