Product Development Engineer I

Job Requirements We're looking for a versatile developer who can work across and backend services to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain applications that enhance the Phenom experience. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter Design and implement robust, scalable backend APIs and services Integrate RESTful/GraphQL APIs with mobile frontends Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Debug and troubleshoot issues across backend and mobile layers Collaborate with UI/UX, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless delivery Required Skills & Experience 2–5 years of combined experience in backend development Experience with Node.js, Java, or Python for backend services (Phenom often uses Node/Java) Proficiency with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party API integrations Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL) Knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines Understanding of application security and performance optimization Nice-to-Have Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms Familiarity with microservices architecture Exposure to Phenom People platform or HR tech products Perks & Benefits Competitive salary Flexible working environment Opportunities for skill growth and learning
