Job TitleCloud Platform Operations Engineer Job Description Job title: Cloud Platform Operations Engineer AWS Your role: Provision, deploy, and operate AWS cloud infrastructure and platform services in production environmentsExecute deployments using CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)Manage cloud services across compute, networking, storage, identity, and monitoring layersMonitor environments, respond to alerts, incidents, and service degradation, ensuring high uptimeTroubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixesCollaborate with product engineering and CloudOps teams to ensure smooth application deploymentsDevelop automation and scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual effortMaintain runbooks, operational documentation, and deployment proceduresSupport incident response rotations and continuous improvement of platform reliabilityYou're the right fit if:Cloud Operations Experience: 8+ years in cloud/platform operations or production support, with strong hands-on AWS experienceAWS Expertise: Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, Load Balancing, Monitoring tools) and managing production environmentsAutomation & DevOps Practices: Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines for automated deploymentsMonitoring & Troubleshooting: Strong skills in monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog), incident handling, and root cause analysisScripting & Containers: Proficiency in Python/Bash scripting, with experience in Docker and KubernetesOperational Excellence & Collaboration: Ability to manage critical incidents, improve system reliability, and collaborate with engineering and CloudOps teams How we work together We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities.
