Job Title Systems Engineer Software Licensing Configuration Job Description Responsible for enabling, validating and maintaining software licensing configurations across the product lifecycle—from project initiation through production—ensuring accurate license generation, mapping and issue resolution in alignment with system engineering and industrialization processes. This role is essential for enabling license generation, mapping and validation across development, catalog and production phases. The MR licensing process is highly specialized and distinct from other modalities, requiring deep domain expertise and close collaboration with development, order desk and service teams. Key Stakeholders: Systems Engineering, Project Industrialization, Marketing, Order Desk, Service, and Development Teams. Your role: Enable license file generation and development functionality based on PRQ the software options document.  remove PRQ, as this is internal MR terminology. Create and review verification license files for development teams. Analyse project scope and Customer-Facing Specifications (CFS) to define software Conditional Bill Of Material (CBOM) and licensing activities. Set parameters and create software mappings in licensing tools for customer order processing. Monitor and resolve licensing issues across FOK sites and production environments. Execute license validation and check mapping between software releases during initial order processing. Investigate and resolve license file issues raised by order desk, key markets, and service teams. Generate installed base reports for marketing and key markets. You're the right fit if you have the following skills and experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience in areas such as System Design; Software or Hardware Engineering or equivalent. à removed system architecture, this is over the top for this role Strong understanding of software configuration and licensing tools. Experience with CBOM creation and software mapping. Ability to interpret technical and commercial documentation (configuration documents, scope documents, CFS). Analytical skills for issue resolution and process monitoring. Effective collaboration across engineering, marketing, service and order management teams. Compensation & benefits Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is EUR 61,185.00 - EUR 101,976.00. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations. This role is eligible for 3% short term incentive with your rewards linked to both individual performance and company results.
