About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and passionate React Native Android Developer to join our mobile engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly mobile applications for Android using React Native. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native for Android platforms
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into pixel-perfect interfaces
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries/services
Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and responsiveness
Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth app performance
Work closely with backend developers and product teams to define and implement new features
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies in mobile development
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

3+ years of experience in mobile app development

Strong experience with React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript

Solid understanding of Android development ecosystem and mobile architecture

Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API)

Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous programming

Experience with Git or other version control systems

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with native Android development (Kotlin or Java)

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications

Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and tools

Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Detox)

Understanding of app deployment processes on the Google Play Store

Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies

Experience working in a fast-paced startup or product-based environment
Compensation, Benefits and Duration
Minimum Compensation: USD 49,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 172,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is not available for independent contractors
