About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of testing methodologies, hands-on experience with test case design, and the ability to identify and report defects effectively. Key Responsibilities
Develop, review, and execute test cases , test plans , and test scripts .
Perform manual testing and/or automation testing based on project needs.
Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA , Azure DevOps , Bugzilla , etc.
Conduct functional , regression , smoke , sanity , and UAT testing.
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure quality deliverables.
Validate API responses using tools such as Postman or Swagger .
Work with automation frameworks (if applicable) such as Selenium , Cypress , Playwright , or Appium .
Ensure compliance with quality standards and best testing practices.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of SDLC , STLC , and Defect Lifecycle .
Hands-on experience in manual testing (web/mobile).
Understanding of API testing .
Experience with test management and bug tracking tools.
Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.
Familiarity with automation tools (based on requirements).
Good to Have
Experience with automation frameworks ( Selenium WebDriver , TestNG , Cucumber , Cypress , Playwright ).
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
Exposure to Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
