About the role
Role And Responsibilities
• Create load-testing scripts for web/REST API applications.
Embed performance tests in CI-CD pipeline and automate the performance testing process.
Conduct tests with complex workloads and data shapes to identify bottlenecks and failure points.
Tune node js and JAVA servers parameters for optimal performance.
Utilize testing tools such as JMeter, site speed, Grafana for VMs/k8 and client performance.
Work with APM/log monitoring tools like ELK, Grafana and AppDynamics.
Generate insightful performance metrics for management review.
Analysing and identifying performance bottlenecks of applications deployed in Linux servers using Linux commands/Shell scripting is a must.
Candidate Qualifications
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in performance engineering role.
Strong knowledge of Java/JavaScript, web framework architectures, and system performance.
Understanding of SDLCs, CI/CD, and test-driven mindset.
