About the role
Role Overview: As a Frontend Engineer at our company in Bangalore, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the user-facing features of web applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to create high-quality, responsive, and performant user interfaces using React.js. Your work will directly impact the user experience and product success. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and responsive web applications using React.js. - Translate UI/UX design mockups and wireframes into clean, well-structured, and efficient code. - Implement new features and enhancements with a focus on cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance. - Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and stability. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions. - Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain high code standards. - Identify and troubleshoot frontend issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks. - Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies, tools, and best practices within the React ecosystem. - Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools. Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of professional experience in frontend web development with ContentStack or similar Headless CMS platform. - Strong proficiency in React.js & Typescript, including core principles like component lifecycle, state management, and hooks. - Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. - Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) frameworks such as Next.js. - Knowledge of UI testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress. - Understanding of web accessibility (WCAG) guidelines. - Familiarity with modern frontend build tools like Webpack, Vite, and package managers such as npm and yarn. - Understanding of responsive design principles and experience in building applications for various devices and screen sizes. - Proficiency in version control systems like Git. - Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
