About the role
Graphics Software Development Engineer
Job Overview
We are seeking a talented engineer to design, implement, and optimize rendering systems, shaders, and graphics features that deliver high visual fidelity and real‑time performance. This role is hands‑on with C++ and shader programming, profiling CPU/GPU workloads, integrating art assets, and collaborating across UX tools (Altia Design, Kanzi Studio, Unity) and QA teams to ship stable, performant graphics for target platforms. Expect a balance of feature development, debugging, and performance engineering with frequent cross‑discipline collaboration.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
Key Responsibilities
Implement rendering features (lighting, materials, post‑processing, animation systems).
Write and optimize shaders (HLSL/GLSL/Metal) for performance across GPUs.
Profile CPU/GPU workloads, identify bottlenecks, and apply optimizations.
Integrate and optimize 3D assets, meshes, textures, and materials.
Debug visual defects and implement robust fixes.
Maintain code quality via unit/integration tests and code reviews.
Collaborate with engine, tools, QA, and product teams.
Support portability across multiple graphics APIs and hardware platforms.
Required Skills & Qualifications (6–12 years experience)
GUI/HMI development using Altia Design, QT, CGI, Kanzi Studio, Unity, or Unreal Engine.
UI/UX asset handling (Photoshop, After Effects, Figma, Illustrator).
Real‑time animation modeling in Altia/Kanzi/Unity/Unreal.
Model‑Based Development (Simulink/Stateflow, Embedded Coder, Target Link).
Programming: C/C++/C#, MATLAB, Python.
Software architecture and system integration.
AUTOSAR familiarity (Classic & Adaptive).
Requirements/change management and effort estimation.
Debugging and verification across dev/target environments.
Performance profiling and optimization for embedded rendering.
3D asset optimization (Blender, Maya, 3ds Max).
Testing/logging tools, CI/CD automation, Git/SVN.
PLM/ALM tools (Jira, Polarion, Jazz).
Supplier and cross‑functional coordination.
Strong communication and problem‑solving mindset.
