SAP BTP Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Developer/Consultant to join our SAP practice. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying applications on SAP BTP, with expertise in cloud-native development, integrations, and SAP extension technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and innovative solutions that extend SAP S/4HANA and other SAP applications. Required Skills & Experience 6-10 years of overall IT experience with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) . Strong experience in developing applications using SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) . Hands-on experience with SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and deployment of cloud-native applications. Experience with SAP HANA Cloud , CDS modeling, and database development. Strong knowledge of Node.js and/or Java for backend development. Experience developing SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and integrating them with BTP services. Expertise in REST APIs, OData services, and SAP Integration Suite. Hands-on experience with authentication and authorization using XSUAA , Role Collections, Destinations, and Connectivity services. Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with SAP BTP applications. Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices. Strong understanding of cloud application architecture and security best practices. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy applications on SAP BTP using CAP, Cloud Foundry, and SAP HANA Cloud. Build extensions for SAP S/4HANA using SAP BTP services. Develop and consume REST and OData APIs. Implement authentication, authorization, and security using SAP BTP services. Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 applications integrated with backend services. Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions. Troubleshoot application, integration, and deployment issues. Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices. Support production deployments, enhancements, and performance optimization. Preferred Skills Experience with SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh). Knowledge of SAP Build Apps , SAP Build Process Automation , or SAP Build Code . Experience with Kyma Runtime and Kubernetes is a plus. Exposure to SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and Identity Provisioning Service (IPS) . SAP BTP certification is preferred.
