Application Engineer

Inside sales / technical support: respond to requests from regional sales managers, independent reps and customers regarding technical information concerning our Vacuum Automation products, applications and solutions. Regional support to include the following: Communication updates with Area Sale Managers via; phone, e-mail & CRM tools. Conduct laboratory trials to simulate applications with customers products. Prepare quotations for our standard products and customized solutions. Participate in training presentations for all sales channels and customers via; in-house, hands-on, digital or web-based tools. Compile Competitive analysis and identify SWOT. Create CAD drawings and other support as requested. Field assistance and startup service when required (on an infrequent basis). Trade show support and participation when required (on an infrequent basis). Customer Service: respond to customer questions concerning quotations, orders, deliveries, lab trials, trouble shooting, process solutions and training. Trouble-shoot systems and installations via phone, Skype & e-mail with urgency. Develop and maintain knowledge and expertise on all products within our product line and accessories. Provide system design assistance, integration and product recommendations to increase customer s profitability and productivity.
