About the role
Budget: 50k-60k Location: Kalina, Santacruz Must have team handling experience. Last Salaary will be matched. Hike will be given after compeltion of 6 months THE ROLE We are looking for a driven Tech Manager to own end-to-end technology delivery across our product suite. You will bridge strategy and execution managing development sprints, guiding a cross-functional team, and ensuring our platforms are always race-ready. You will report directly to the founding team and have strong influence over product direction. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Product & Engineering Own the full lifecycle of web, mobile (iOS & Android), and SaaS products from ideation through deploymentDefine technical architecture and ensure scalability, security, and uptime for high-traffic race-day scenariosLead sprint planning, sprint reviews, and backlog grooming using Agile / Scrum methodologyCollaborate with product and design teams to translate business requirements into engineering specsOversee API integrations with payment gateways, timing chip vendors, mapping services, and logistics partnersEnsure mobile app performance across Android and iOS, managing releases on Play Store and App StoreAWS hosting expertiseTeam & Operations Hire, mentor, and manage a team of vendorsEstablish coding standards, review processes, and documentation practices across all reposDrive incident response and post-mortem culture to achieve near-zero downtime on event daysManage cloud infrastructure costs and vendor contracts (AWS)Act as the primary technical liaison for external technology partners and race organisersProvide regular progress updates and technical roadmaps to leadershipREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field5+ years of experience in software developmentProven track record of shipping and maintaining consumer-facing web applications and mobile appsHands-on experience with modern web frameworks (React, Next.js, or equivalent) and backend stacks (Node.js, Python, or Java)Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholdersPREFERRED / GOOD TO HAVE Prior experience in sports-tech, events management, or high-traffic real-time applicationsKnowledge of data analytics platforms and dashboarding tools for post-race reportingPMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certificationPassion for running, fitness, or endurance sports is a strong plusGood English communication skillsWHAT WE OFFER Competitive compensation with performance-linked bonus and ESOPsOpportunity to build and own technology that powers thousands of runners / cyclists across IndiaFlat, founder-led culture with fast decision-making and high ownershipComplimentary race entries, running gear, and participation in marquee eventsFlexible hybrid working with occasional travel to race venues across IndiaAnnual learning & development budget for certifications and conferences Work from Office, Kalina, Santacruz, Mumbai Mon to Fri in most weeks Some weekend on call needed when events are being conducted Compensation: 45,000.00 - 60,000.00 per month Work Location: In person .
