About the role
Key Responsibilities Lead engineering and design activities for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. Develop technical specifications, single-line diagrams (SLDs), layouts, and engineering documentation. Evaluate battery technologies, PCS, EMS, SCADA, transformers, and balance-of-plant equipment. Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, OEMs, and project stakeholders. Support project execution, commissioning, testing, and performance validation. Review engineering drawings, BOQs, equipment specifications, and design calculations. Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, NFPA, UL, CEA, and local electrical standards. Conduct technical risk assessments and implement engineering best practices. Provide technical support during procurement, installation, and commissioning phases.
