Job Description Electrical BIM Modeler Position: Electrical BIM Modeler Location: Madurai Experience: 1 - 10 Years Industry: BIM / AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) About the Role We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical BIM Modeler to join our growing BIM team. The candidate will be responsible for creating, developing, and coordinating electrical building services models using BIM software while ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and client expectations. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Electrical BIM models using Revit and other BIM tools. Create detailed electrical layouts, including power, lighting, fire alarm, ELV, and grounding systems. Prepare construction drawings, shop drawings, and coordinated BIM models. Coordinate with Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, and Architectural teams to resolve clashes and design conflicts. Perform clash detection and model validation using Navisworks or similar software. Ensure models comply with project specifications, BIM standards, and quality requirements. Extract schedules, quantities, and project documentation from BIM models. Participate in coordination meetings and support project delivery teams. Update and revise models based on design changes and client feedback. Required Qualifications Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 110 years of experience in Electrical BIM Modeling. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP. Good understanding of electrical systems, codes, and drafting standards. Experience in preparing electrical shop drawings and construction documentation. Knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection and coordination. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Skills Experience working on international projects (US, UK, Middle East, Australia, etc.). Familiarity with BIM execution plans (BEP) and BIM standards. Knowledge of AutoCAD and other BIM-related software. Understanding of LOD requirements and project workflows.
