About the role
About the internship: Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Web AR development: Assist in developing and deploying interactive Web AR experiences using libraries like Three.js, Babylon.js, or A-Frame, and related AR frameworks (e.g., 8th Wall, Zappar). 2. Platform optimization: Optimize AR applications for performance, stability, and compatibility across target platforms (e.g., mobile devices, web browsers) by profiling for CPU/GPU usage, memory, and draw calls. 3. Asset integration: Integrate 2D/3D assets (models, textures, animations) provided by artists into the AR applications and ensure they function correctly within the engine/web environment. 4. Prototyping & iteration: Quickly create and iterate on AR prototypes to test new design ideas, interaction patterns, and technical feasibility. 5. Testing & debugging: Perform thorough testing and debugging of AR features to identify and resolve issues related to tracking, visual quality, and application logic. 6. Documentation: Maintain clear and concise technical documentation for code, features, and development processes.
