About the role
Role: QA Engineer Description: Pkasti is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our client project. This role involves designing, developing, and executing quality assurance processes for multiple applications across the platform. Testing will include both manual and automated approaches, covering projects and BAU activities. Automation expertise is essential. The QA Engineer will collaborate closely with the development team to ensure high-quality software delivery and will be responsible for testing and documenting processes throughout all stages of development. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automated tests by creating scripts for automated testing functions. Build automated tests across the technology stack where applicable. Maximize test coverage for critical system features. Prioritize test scenarios and create execution plans. Prepare documentation for automated processes, including test plans, procedures, and cases. Build and maintain test automation frameworks. Log and track defects in the defect management system and ensure resolution. Set up and manage Continuous Integration pipelines. Establish and maintain controls for risk and quality assurance. Apply defect tracking, reporting tools, risk analysis, and test design techniques. Support DevOps principles for testing and maintenance implementations. Define and manage the test strategy within the ASP Team. Review business requirements and execute Functional, Integration, End-to-End, Regression, UAT, and API Automation testing. Own and drive testing tasks from initiation to completion. Coordinate and support UAT with business stakeholders. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using xUnit, NUnit, RestSharp for backend and MS Playwright with C# or TypeScript for frontend. Create and execute test plans and cases for software applications. Collaborate with developers to identify test scenarios and ensure coverage of critical business requirements. Analyze test results, debug errors, and report defects until resolution. Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, retrospectives). Stay updated on new testing technologies and share knowledge with the team. Experience & Skills: Strong experience with Azure Pipelines and CI/CD tools (e.g., Octopus). Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Minimum 3 years of automation testing experience with xUnit, NUnit, MS Playwright, RestSharp. Proficiency in C# (.NET) programming. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in Agile environments. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. Minimum 5 years experience in testing competency . ISEB/ISTQB certification preferred. Strong knowledge of STLC (Test Planning, Monitoring, Analysis, Design, Execution, Closure). Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cosmos DB). Extensive experience in API testing (REST & SOAP). Mobile testing experience is advantageous. This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
