About the role
As a Civil Draftsman specializing in RCC Building Works, your role will involve preparing detailed civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD, drafting RCC building plans, sections, elevations, and reinforcement detailing drawings. You will be responsible for updating construction drawings as per project requirements, coordinating with various stakeholders for drawing revisions and approvals, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with engineering standards and project specifications. Additionally, you will maintain records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation, assist in preparing bar bending schedules (BBS), and incorporate site changes and engineer comments into final drawings. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD - Draft RCC building plans, sections, elevations, and reinforcement detailing drawings - Prepare and update construction drawings as per project requirements - Coordinate with civil engineers, architects, consultants, and site teams for drawing revisions and approvals - Ensure accuracy and compliance with engineering standards and project specifications - Maintain records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation - Assist in preparing bar bending schedules (BBS) and other technical drawings when required - Incorporate site changes and engineer comments into final drawings Qualifications Required: - ITI / Diploma in Civil Draftsmanship or Civil Engineering - 23 years of experience as a Civil Draftsman in RCC building projects - Proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting software - Good understanding of RCC detailing, structural drawings, and construction practices The company values your strong drafting and technical drawing skills, knowledge of RCC reinforcement detailing, attention to detail, accuracy, good communication, and coordination skills. You should be able to work independently, meet project deadlines efficiently, and preferably have experience in residential, commercial, or industrial RCC building projects.
