As a member of Plante Moran's internal firm services team, your role will involve being a key resource in building and supporting people data and analytics from Workday and other HR systems across the firm. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and enhancing current published Workday reports and dashboards, building and creating reporting and visualizations in Workday, Power BI, and Excel to deliver actionable insights, and intake reporting requests to identify the best data and solution to fulfill the need. Additionally, you will assist with HR reporting helpdesk items, run assigned and ad hoc data requests and analysis for workforce metrics, and conduct data analysis and investigation to ensure accuracy and integrity. You will also review and improve HR processes using analytics and MS Power Apps where applicable. Your analytical abilities will be put to the test as you will need to understand HR processes and terminology, demonstrate creative, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, possess strong troubleshooting skills, and have the ability to translate business questions into data-driven deliverables. Strong interpersonal and communication skills will be essential as you promote positive working relationships with diverse personalities and roles at all levels in the firm. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelors degree in HR, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in people analytics or HR reporting with report writing experience. You must have a strong aptitude for data analysis, report writing experience, familiarity with HR databases and systems, and advanced Excel skills. Experience with Workday reporting is required, while Power BI experience is preferred. Collaborative project experience and strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are also necessary.
