About the role
About the internship: Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: - Assist in the development and enhancement of web applications using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Support implementation of front-end frameworks like React or Angular under guidance - Contribute to back-end development tasks using Node.js, Python, or Java Work with databases such as MySQL or MongoDB for data storage and retrieval - Participate in the software development life cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, and deployment - Use version control systems (Git) to manage code and collaborate with the team - Assist in identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical issues and bugs - Collaborate with cross-functional teams following agile development practices - Document development processes and learn best coding practices - Gain exposure to projects related to marine technologies (good to have) Who can apply: Only those candidates can apply who: are available for full time (in-office) internship can start the internship between 17th Jul'26 and 21st Aug'26 are available for duration of 6 months have relevant skills and interests are Computer Science Engineering students Stipend: INR₹ 15,000 /month Deadline: 2026-08-16 23:59:59 Other perks: Certificate, Free snacks & beverages Skills required: JavaScript, MongoDB, Node.js and Express.js About Company: Planys Technologies Private Limited is an IIT Madras-incubated startup that specializes in submerged robotic inspection and survey solutions. We utilize indigenously manufactured submersible, remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROV), and autonomous underwater vehicles (AUV). Founded by recent IIT Madras alumni and mechanical engineering faculty, our goal is to provide comprehensive automated inspection solutions. This includes customized design and fabrication of robotic platforms, integrated sensing, and diagnostics. Our expertise spans marine robotics, integrating various inspection techniques and post-inspection analysis tools.
