Product Lead

As a Product Lead, App & MyAccount at Policybazaar, you will be responsible for owning the App and MyAccount surfaces as a product-driven business. Your role involves setting objectives, building the roadmap, and delivering outcomes for these two crucial platforms where millions of customers discover, transact, and manage their insurance with us. You will lead a tech team and collaborate closely with business heads of various insurance categories. Key Responsibilities: - Set objectives and quarterly targets for engagement, retention, conversion, and servicing of the App and MyAccount. Take accountability for achieving these targets. - Translate targets into actionable programs by leveraging data and judgment to drive initiatives such as onboarding, retention loops, personalization, self-service, and cross-selling. - Maintain a tight roadmap, prioritize backlog, ensure quality in product releases, and promote a culture of experimentation. - Lead and mentor the engineering team supporting the App and MyAccount to ensure high performance standards. - Collaborate with business line heads to align on priorities, resolve trade-offs, and drive shared goals across different insurance categories. - Uphold high standards of user experience and reliability, emphasizing UX, crash rates, performance, and store ratings. Ideal Candidate Profile: - 712 years of experience with a background in owning an app, digital customer experience, or app-driven business outcomes. - Experience as a founder/small-company operator or a product leader from a larger organization, ready for an entrepreneurial role. - Strong product management skills with a track record of shipping consumer features end-to-end and effective collaboration with engineering teams. - Proficiency in analytics, data-driven decision-making, and stakeholder management. - Capability to lead tech teams and engage with senior stakeholders from multiple business lines. - Preferred background in design or UI/UX. - Self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to achieving goals. - Academic qualifications are considered valuable for this role.
