Senior Support Engineer (IBM BPM/BAW)

The role involves supporting, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise BAW production environments for global clients. You will work closely with architects, product teams, and customer stakeholders to ensure stable platform operations, resolve production issues, and drive continuous improvements. This is a hands-on technical support role requiring strong troubleshooting skills across application, middleware, and operating system layers, along with excellent communication and customer-facing abilities. Required Experience Hands-on experience supporting IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) in production environments Solid understanding of BAW architecture, runtime components, deployment patterns, and troubleshooting approaches Experience developing and maintaining IBM BAW solutions Process design and implementation Coach and UI development Integration services (REST/SOAP) Troubleshooting and modifying existing process applications Working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux system administration, including Log analysis Service management and restarts Basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or similar) File system and permission management Experience working in support or managed services environments Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively Strong written and verbal communication skills Mandatory Skills: IBM Business Automation Workflow (IBM BAW) IBM BAW Process Development & Production Support REST & SOAP Web Services Windows/Linux Administration Production Support & Troubleshooting Preferred Skills: (Nice to have) IBM BAW on Cloud (BAWoC) / CP4BA WebSphere Application Server (Traditional/Liberty) LDAP & Single Sign-On (SSO) DB2 / Oracle / Microsoft SQL Server OutSystems Automation Anywhere (AAI) Camunda (Camunda 8) Intelligent Automation (IA) Blue Prism Infrastructure Blue Prism Hub About Potentiam: Potentiam is a global provider of highly qualified professionals to European SMEs from our offices in Romania, South Africa and India.
