You'll work closely with designers and stakeholders, contribute to technical decisions, and play an active role in keeping our work at the leading edge of the WordPress ecosystem Responsibilities: Develop and maintain high-performance WordPress websites and custom plugins/themes Stay current with WordPress core updates, Gutenberg/FSE, and the broader plugin landscape Explore and integrate AI-powered tools to enhance content workflows, automation, and site functionality Optimize for speed, SEO, security, and accessibility Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in code reviews Requirements: 25 years of professional WordPress development experience Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript Solid understanding of Gutenberg block editor and Full Site Editing (FSE) Experience with REST API, WP-CLI, Git, and modern development workflows Hands-on experience using AI tools within a WordPress context integrations, content automation, or development assistance Proactive mindset: you follow WordPress news, test new plugins, and bring ideas to the table Nice to have: WooCommerce, headless/decoupled WordPress, multisite environments About Powercret Solutions: Powercret Solutions, a leading Microsoft Partner, excels in delivering cutting-edge intelligent solutions designed to meet your digital, strategic, and technical business needs.
