Job Description: Quality Analyst (QA) Manual Testing Position: Quality Analyst (QA) Manual Testing Experience: 12 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Goregaon East, Mumbai Work Mode: On-site About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-focused Quality Analyst (QA) Manual Testing to join our technology team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, usability, and reliability of our Shopify website and React Native mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to identify, document, and track issues throughout the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities 1. Test Planning & Documentation Understand and analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and user stories. Prepare detailed Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and Test Data. Estimate testing efforts and timelines. Maintain QA documentation, test reports, and testing records. 2. Functional Testing Perform end-to-end functional testing of the Shopify website. Test React Native applications on both Android and iOS platforms. Validate complete user journeys across the customer funnel. Verify business rules, workflows, validations, and expected functionality. Identify functional gaps and inconsistencies. 3. Regression Testing Execute regression testing before every production release. Validate bug fixes and ensure that existing functionality is not impacted. Maintain and execute regression test suites. 4. Integration Testing Validate integrations with third-party systems and services, including: Payment Gateways Shipping Partners Order Management Systems (OMS) Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Tracking Tools Verify data flow and integration behavior across systems. 5. Mobile Application Testing Test Android and iOS application builds. Validate app installation, updates, upgrades, and complete user flows. Test app permissions, push notifications, and deep linking. Verify application behavior across multiple devices and operating system versions. Identify device-specific and OS-specific issues. 6. Bug Reporting & Defect Management Log defects with clear descriptions and detailed reproduction steps. Capture and attach relevant screenshots, screen recordings, logs, and supporting evidence. Assign appropriate severity and priority to identified defects. Track defects through the complete lifecycle until closure. Perform retesting and regression testing after bug fixes. Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to resolve issues effectively. 7. Cross-Browser & Device Testing Perform testing across major browsers, including: Google Chrome Safari Mozilla Firefox Microsoft Edge Mobile Browsers Validate responsive behavior across different screen sizes, resolutions, devices, and platforms. 8. Performance & Usability Checks Perform basic checks related to page load behavior and responsiveness. Identify UI/UX inconsistencies and usability issues. Test broken links, forms, input validations, error messages, and customer journeys. Ensure a smooth and consistent user experience across platforms. Required Skills & Qualifications 12 years of experience in Manual Software Testing / Quality Assurance. Hands-on experience in functional, regression, integration, and mobile application testing. Experience testing web applications and mobile applications. Understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Good understanding of defect life cycle and bug tracking processes. Experience in writing test cases, test scenarios, and test reports. Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman will be an added advantage. Basic understanding of SQL/database testing will be an added advantage.
