This mission is super exciting, but theres still a lot to do and thats exactly where you come in Role Description This is a full time, on-site role as an MSSQL Database Administrator & Python Automation Engineer in Coimbatore. You will be responsible for administering and optimizing Microsoft SQL Server environments while developing scalable Python automation solutions that improve operational efficiency, modernize legacy applications, and support business-critical data systems. This role combines database administration, data engineering, automation development, and legacy VBA support to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing business applications. You will:Microsoft SQL Server Administration - Install, configure, patch, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server production, staging, and development environments. - Monitor database health, storage, and performance to ensure maximum uptime. - Analyze execution plans and optimize T-SQL queries, indexes, and database objects. - Design, implement, and test backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions. - Configure and maintain AlwaysOn Availability Groups, Failover Clustering, and Log Shipping. - Manage database security, including user access, roles, permissions, encryption, and security audits. - Troubleshoot production database issues and proactively identify performance bottlenecks. Python Development & Automation - Develop reusable Python applications to automate business processes and repetitive workflows. - Design and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data into Microsoft SQL Server. - Integrate data from APIs, flat files, web services, and external systems. - Build automated scheduling solutions using Windows Task Scheduler, Cron, or orchestration .
