About the role
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to maintain and support our organizations network infrastructure. Youll ensure the performance, security, and reliability of internal systems and connectivity while troubleshooting and resolving network issues efficiently. Responsibilities - Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, switches, and other network devices. - Monitor network performance and proactively identify issues or bottlenecks. - Ensure network security and data integrity through firewalls, VPNs, and access controls. - Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning. - Support users with network-related issues and provide technical assistance. - Maintain documentation of network configurations and procedures. - Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to implement upgrades and improvements. Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 3+ years of experience in network administration or IT infrastructure. - Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). - Experience with firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and cloud networking (Azure, AWS, or similar). - Familiarity with network monitoring tools and diagnostic software. - Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications - Relevant certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar). - Experience with Windows and Linux server environments. - Understanding of cybersecurity best practices. - Experience in enterprise or multi-site environments.
