Role Overview: As a ServiceNow developer with a strong focus on UX design, your primary objective will be to create a seamless and intuitive user experience within the custom FinCrime solution developed for the Financial Service Operations module. Your role will encompass translating complex requirements into user-centric designs and implementing visually engaging interfaces that enhance usability and efficiency, particularly leveraging the Node Map component to create complex entity relationship maps. Key Responsibilities: - Design visually appealing and interactive entity relationship maps using the Node Map component, enabling users to intuitively understand the complex relationships between various records. - Utilize colors, shapes, and interactive elements to differentiate between different relationship types and provide users with a clear and meaningful representation of data. - Ensure that the entity relationship maps are optimized for performance and scalability within the ServiceNow platform. - Implement best practices for data handling, caching, and rendering to deliver a seamless user experience, even with large datasets. - Design user-friendly interfaces for the alert mechanism, ensuring that notifications are presented clearly and intuitively to users. - Implement interactive elements that enable users to respond to alerts promptly and efficiently, fostering proactive engagement with critical information. - Adopt an iterative design process, incorporating user feedback and testing results to refine and enhance the user experience continuously. - Collaborate closely with stakeholders and end-users to gather insights and iterate on design solutions based on their input and preferences, particularly focusing on the usability and effectiveness of the Node Map component. - Ensure that the application adheres to accessibility standards and guidelines, making it accessible to users of all abilities. - Conduct usability testing to identify and address usability issues, optimizing the interface for maximum usability and efficiency. - Provide clear and concise documentation specifying the requirements and the elements that have been built to meet those requirements. Qualifications Required: - Professional, approachable, and truly passionate about ServiceNow. - Outstanding ServiceNow configuration, customization, and integration skills. - Proficiency in developing custom solutions within the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, Glide, Service Portal, and custom application development. - Strong analysis and problem-solving skills. - Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, with experience in conducting user research, creating wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups. - Demonstrable ability to produce high-quality technical documentation. - Expertise in leveraging ServiceNow's Node Map component to create interactive entity relationship maps, including customization of nodes, edges, and graph behavior. - Ability to conceptualize and implement complex entity relationship models within ServiceNow, including various types of relationships and scalability considerations. - Proficiency in designing interfaces with advanced visual manipulation and interactivity features to enhance user engagement and usability. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and propose innovative solutions. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, designers, and developers. - Hold a minimum ServiceNow System Administrator certification with Certified Implementation Specialist being preferable. - Demonstrable experience in ServiceNow UX development.
