WebMethods Technical Consultant Location: Bangalore/ Hyderabad Experience: 5 to 10Years Shift Timing: UK Shift (2PM- 11PM)- 5days WFO Employment Type: Full-Time Hyderabad Office Location: Pragma Towers, Plot No.07, Image Gardens Road, Silicon Valley, Madhapur, Hyderabad, TG-500081 Bangalore Office Location: 1st floor, IndiQube Platina, 15 Commissariat Road, Ashok Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka- 560025 Role Overview We are seeking an experienced WebMethods Consultant with strong expertise in enterprise integration, B2B/EDI, APIs, and cloud-based integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions using the WebMethods platform. This role is primarily focused on solution delivery, architecture, and implementation , with occasional participation in customer discussions and solution workshops when required. Key Responsibilities WebMethods Solution Design & Delivery Design, develop, and implement enterprise integration solutions using the WebMethods platform Build and support integrations using Integration Server (IS), Trading Networks (TN), Universal Messaging (UM), and API Gateway Develop REST and SOAP services, APIs, and reusable integration components Configure and manage B2B/EDI integrations, including trading partner onboarding and communication protocols Design and implement integrations with enterprise applications such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, and other third-party systems Develop cloud and hybrid integration solutions using webMethods.io, AWS, and Azure Perform data transformation, mapping, and message processing using WebMethods Mapper, JSON, XML, and XSLT Support, Optimization & Governance Troubleshoot production issues and conduct root cause analysis Perform performance tuning and optimization of integration solutions Ensure solution scalability, reliability, and security Implement API security standards including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and authentication mechanisms Follow integration governance, coding standards, and best practices Team Collaboration & Technical Leadership Collaborate with business, application, and infrastructure teams to deliver integration solutions Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance Participate in architecture discussions and solution reviews Contribute to reusable assets, integration frameworks, and best-practice documentation Optional Presales Support Support technical workshops, solution discussions, and customer presentations when required Assist with effort estimation and high-level solution design for new opportunities Contribute to RFP/RFI responses on an as-needed basis. Required Qualifications Experience 5 to 10 years of experience in WebMethods development and integration projects Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end integration solution delivery Proven experience implementing enterprise integration and B2B solutions Strong expertise in EDI standards such as X12 and EDIFACT Experience integrating enterprise applications including SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, and other business systems Experience working in production support and implementation environments Technical Skills Deep expertise in: WebMethods Integration Server (IS) Trading Networks (TN) Universal Messaging (UM) API Gateway MWS (preferred) Strong experience with: REST APIs SOAP Web Services JSON, XML, XSLT API Security (OAuth 2.0, JWT) Experience with B2B communication protocols: AS2 SFTP HTTPS FTPS Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS Azure webMethods.io Knowledge of Java, Python, or scripting languages Familiarity with Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar monitoring tools Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices Preferred Qualifications Experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and Secure Proxy webMethods / Software AG certifications Experience working in Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare, Logistics, or Financial Services domains Knowledge of supply chain integration and EDI ecosystems Exposure to customer-facing solution discussions and technical workshops Key Skills WebMethods IS | Trading Networks | Universal Messaging | API Gateway | B2B/EDI | X12 | EDIFACT | AS2 | REST APIs | SOAP Services | XML | JSON | XSLT | AWS | Azure | webMethods.io | SAP Integration | Oracle Integration | Salesforce Integration
