A. Position Summary: Required candidate with around 8-10 years of extensive working experience in PROPHET modelling of life insurance products, along with experience in performing experience analysis and planning related work. Having cleared at least 10 actuarial exams. The candidate is expected to be involved in aspects of day to day PROPHET modelling (recent products as well as enhancements), assessment of emerging demographic experience of the business sold and provide actuarial deliverables for Company s long term business planning exercise. The role will involve cross-functional collaboration, providing technical reasoning to other departments for understanding Actual Vs Expected gaps. B. Key Responsibilities: - Understanding new product features and setup new products in Prophet Model. - Incorporate any changes/refinements identified in Prophet Model. - Testing of all cashflows (Best Estimate & Valuation) independently on excel. - Regression testing on product level to ensure consistency with reported results. - Impact analysis and justification of results with detailed reasons. - Documentation of all changes made in coding along with results and impact analysis in release document. - Handling queries related to Prophet Model raised by stakeholders. - Work on any other project that may arise from time to time, such as IFRS17 modelling. - Perform mortality and persistency analysis on monthly basis and circulate results to relevant stakeholders. - Ensure all timelines are met with respect to reporting, internal as well as external. - Assess emerging experience and propose BE assumptions to be used for actuarial projections. - Prepare representative model points to project future new business along with existing business for business planning exercise. - Provide expected P&L; projections to CFO s office. - Project Company s expected EV and VNB basis business plan information. - Provide above results for various sensitivities and scenarios for finalizing Company s long term business plan. Job Specifications: - A Graduate/Post Graduate with minimum 10 actuarial exams. - Out of total experience, at least 4-5 years of working experience in PROPHET modelling is a must. - Sound knowledge of advanced MS Excel, VBA coding. - Conceptual thinker with strong analytical, data management skills, work attitudes to details and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Good communication and governance skills.
