Test Engineer Manual and Automation

As a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer at our company, your primary responsibility will be to focus on patch testing for Siemens Teamcenter. You will be tasked with validating patch deployments to ensure system stability and verifying functional integrity across modules in complex PLM environments. Your key responsibilities will include: - Executing manual test cases for Teamcenter patch releases across multiple environments. - Performing regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains intact after patch application. - Validating installation configuration and upgrade procedures for Teamcenter patches. - Documenting test results, defects, and observations in a structured manner using QA tools. - Collaborating with development, DevOps, and system administration teams to troubleshoot patch-related issues. - Ensuring compliance with QA standards, industry best practices, and organizational processes. - Supporting root cause analysis and providing detailed defect reports for patch-related failures. - Participating in test planning review sessions and stakeholder meetings to align on patch readiness. In order to be successful in this role, you should have at least 2-5 years of experience in manual QA, preferably with PLM systems. Additionally, you should possess hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter, including installation configuration and functional modules. Strong knowledge of QA methodologies (ETVX regression, smoke, and system testing), familiarity with patch management processes and validation workflows, proficiency in test case design, execution, and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, or similar), and the ability to work in multi-environment setups (Dev, QA, UAT, Production) are essential. Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills will also be key to excelling in this role. It is also required that you have skills in both manual and automation QA, along with a Bachelor of Engineering degree.
